A Xmas bunting decoration

Hi,

I had an idea in my head - always a dangerous thing I find! - and then when I saw a subtle garland in B&Q which I thought would be the ideal partner I set about it!  I used my Spellbinders dies, some gorgeous gingham cotton and plain red for the reverse I cut out lots of hearts, hand cut wadding hearts (and was spluttering on the stuff for days afterwards!) and lots of stitching later it was ready!

The photo isnt huge but hopefully you can get the idea!
It set me off to making personalised tree dec's for all of the little people in my family and these soon followed but in felt!

These decorated hearts were quite the rage last winter and I especially loved the Nordic colour way.  Thanks for looking,

Geometric throw that caused quite a stir!

Hello,

It's not often that either of my daughters actually likes a baby shawl that Ive made other than this one!

I first saw this design on an American blog and didnt settle until I was holding my own copy - and it came in a book with a story included!
It makes up to be an ideal size for use in a buggy so it went to the same friend that the shawl below did.  She said every time she uses it, she gets asked about it!
My girls have also placed their orders - for when the time is right - so I must be onto a winner I reckon!

Thanks for your visit!

Winter weight baby shawl

Hello,

Here is a shawl I made for a winter baby in dk.  It finished at about 4' square and I was very glad to finish it as it was quite warm laying over me as I made the edging!

and again

Nothing quite compares to the feeling when your project is finished, it really is quite special!

Chevron Throw and Cushion

Hello and welcome to my new knitting blog!

Here is a shot of the set which I knitted in cotton for my daughter's study.  She is a very cold person and she will be doing all of her marking in there so I figured a nice comfy throw and cushion would help her!

It has become my new favourite pattern as it is reversible, having only 3 rows to it.  I loved working with the cottons as they have a lovely snuggle factor!

Let me know what you think of them, that way I can call by your blog and see your makes too.
Thanks for visiting,
